 What we will do:

  • We will scan your Super 8mm and/or regular 8mm silent films into digital video at a rate of two frames per second for sprocket hole-less conversion.
  • We capture the entirety of your film frames and then run the resulting video through an editing program to properly frame your film.
  • Our DVD’s all have a main menu and buttons which can be clicked to show each film reel.
  • We use Sony DVD -R discs with labels on them.
  • If there is any film leader or excess film in between photographed film footage we do our best to cut it out during the video editing stage and place the good pieces of video against each other. This way you get only good clips of your films.
  • You’ll receive your film reel(s) back and on DVD for your viewing pleasure

Cost:

  • $.20/foot
  • Additional DVD copies $4 each
  • This translates to $10.00 per a 3″ blue reel (or possibly red, grey, or white) which on average can contain 50 feet of film for a running time of 3 minutes.  Such reels can contain more or less amount of film.
