Leah and Matt's Wedding

A Festive Celebration: Leah and Matt’s Christmas Wedding

We had the joy of capturing Leah and Matt’s Christmas wedding, our final celebration of 2022—and what a magical way to end the year! Their ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments, holiday cheer, and festive Christmas decor that brought an extra sparkle to the day.

As guests took their seats, the ceremony began with each groomsman gracefully escorting a bridesmaid down the aisle. Then came a twist that brought laughter and surprise—a flower man instead of the traditional flower girl. He danced down the aisle, playfully tossing and blowing rose petals toward the crowd. A second man soon joined in for a spontaneous and fun dance before they both returned to their seats, leaving everyone smiling.

After a brief pause and a swell of music, the back doors opened to reveal Leah and her father. He walked her slowly down the aisle, with Matt watching on, visibly moved. Standing at the altar with officiant Steve Merlow, the couple shared an emotional moment as Steve invited everyone to reflect. Then came a powerful question: “Do you support this marriage?” The guests responded with a unanimous and enthusiastic “We do!”

Leah and Matt chose to write and exchange their own vows. Leah began, pouring her heart out to Matt with words full of love and sincerity. Matt followed, sharing memories of their journey, including the moment he proposed. He also spoke tenderly about Leah’s special bond with his daughter, Scarlett, expressing how deeply she meant to both of them. With a smile, he jokingly turned to Steve and said, “Merlow, make this woman my wife,” to which Steve replied, “Working on it.”

Following their vows, Leah and Matt exchanged rings and took a celebratory shot prepared by Steve—an unexpected but fun touch that fit their joyful vibe perfectly. Then came another touching moment: Scarlett stood before her father and Leah, as Leah spoke directly to her, thanking her for being such a wonderful daughter and expressing how much she meant. The moment ended in a heartfelt hug.

With the crowd beaming, Steve officially pronounced Leah and Matt married. They kissed, exchanged “I love you,” and Steve joyfully announced:
“It’s now my pleasure to introduce to you for the first time as a married couple, Matt and Leah Borak!”

As the newlyweds walked back down the aisle together, Matt stole another kiss halfway down. The bridal party followed, just as they had entered, with groomsmen escorting bridesmaids. The atmosphere was electric with love, laughter, and holiday joy.

Leah and Matt’s Christmas wedding was not just a ceremony—it was an unforgettable celebration of love, family, and festive spirit. We’re honored to have captured every magical moment.
